About me

I'm a highly experienced Irish CBT therapist and I have been working in clinical practise for almost twenty years. I am fully professionally licenced, accredited and certified. I have completed cognitive behavioural therapy training with The Beck Institute in the US. This institute was founded by Dr Aaron Beck who originally developed CBT.

I hold a Master's Degree (Honours) in Psychotherapy Studies from Sheffield University and a BSc. Degree (First Class Honours) in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University.

I am currently a postgraduate Doctoral research student at the University of Bath.

For further information on my clinical practice and personal therapy services, please see my website here.

As well as working as a practising therapist, I have been an educator for the past twenty-five years. I am an experienced third-level lecturer, workshop facilitator and a continuing professional development instructor, all in the field of counselling and psychotherapy.

About the course

Course structure

Each course involves a once-weekly hour-long live webinar. The live webinars take place on Mondays or Thursdays, depending upon which course you enrol onto. The webinars typically involve me sharing, lecture-style, the fundamental aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy which my clients find beneficial towards their personal growth and development. Each webinar will finish with a 15 minute live Q&A session for any participants who wish to ask questions about the content which has been covered during the class.

Participants will be granted access to the CBT resources which are referenced during the webinar following each class, at no extra cost. These materials can be downloaded by the participants and are free for them to use in a personal capacity thereafter.

Once the course is completed, participants will be sent an 'Online CBT Courses - CBT Essentials' course completion certificate.
